German Chocolate Cake

About This Recipe

"This is the recipe on the box of German Chocolate. It is delicious and moist. You can make it in three layers like the traditional one, or in a 9x13 pan which is so easy. Then frost with Coconut-Pecan Frosting."

Ingredients

    • 1 (4 ounce) packages German sweet chocolate
    • 1/2 cup water
    • 2 cups flour
    • 1 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1 cup butter ( 2 sticks)
    • 2 cups sugar
    • 4 eggs ( separated)
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla
    • 1 cup buttermilk

Directions

  1. Grease the bottom of 3 (9") pans or one 9x13 pan.
  2. In a microwave proof bowl melt the chocolate and water on high for 1 1/2-2 minutes or until chocolate is almost melted, stirring after each minute; stir until chocolate is completely melted.
  3. Mix flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  4. Beat butter and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer till light and fluffy.
  5. Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  6. Stir in chocolate mixture and vanilla.
  7. Add flour mixture alternately with buttermilk, beating well after each addition.
  8. In another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  9. Gently stir into batter and pour evenly into pans.
  10. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Cool for 15 minutes and remove from pans.
  12. Frost with Coconut-Pecan Frosting.

Apricot Cake

1 (18.25 ounce ) box lemon cake mix
3 eggs, beaten slightly
1 (15 ounce) can apricots, chopped


Combine cake mix, eggs and apricots with juice in a mixing bowl and mix well. Bake in a greased, floured 9•13 inch pan at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes, or until cake tests done.

Hobo Dinner 3 ingredients

1 pound ground beef
4 onion slices
4 potatoes


Shape ground beef into patties. Slice potatoes 1/2 Inch thick.
Place patties on square of foil. Top with potato slices (2 to 3), than a slice of onion.
Season to taste. Fold tightly; place in pan and bake at 350 degrees farenhight for 45 minutes.

Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

  Welcome to my blog.You probably have heard of oatmeal raisin cookies, but now I bring you my favorite recipe yet! Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookie. I know it sounds terrible and disgusting but its really good. 
  You will need-
 1 package Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe Spice Cake mix 
 1 cup quick - cooking oats
 2 eggs 
 1/2 cup oil
 1/2 cup raisins

   Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease baking sheets.
   Combine cake mix, oats, eggs and oil in a large bowl.
   Beat at low speed with an a electric mixer until blended
   Stir in raisins. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto baking
   sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 7 to 9 minutes or until
   lightly browned. Cool for 1 minute.
